THERE IS HERE, HERE IS THERE.My artwork originates from daily life and usesmy body as its means of expression. My work gives shape to the point at which actual substance and matter existing in space meet, and then leaves the to exchange feelings with the materials used. By keeping symbolism to a minimum, the body of the work is suspended in midair and connected to the viewer’s line of focus. No standards are set for the contents, and theartwork becomes a mere device lacking any “answer”. Instead, the “answer” is sent back to the observer’s inner mind. A neutral place is created in which the realization of “being here” is combined with the realization of “being there”, and the consciousness of location becomes the sensation of being in the state of limbo that lies between these two worlds.
